Spotify Save Prices and the Cost Per Save

From 3¢ a save at 100 for $2.99 down to 0.29¢ a save at 10,000 for $28.99: that is the whole Spotify saves price list. The unit price falls 90% across the four tiers, the widest spread of any Spotify ladder we sell. Saves show up in Spotify for Artists rather than on the track page, so the money goes on your own dashboard and save rate. All the order asks for is the track's link and one card payment.

Saves start at the same prices as Spotify followers and then pull away: 100 for $2.99 is 3¢ each, the popular 500 for $5.99 is 1.2¢, 2,500 for $10.99 is 0.44¢, and 10,000 for $28.99 is 0.29¢. The same $10.99 that buys 1,000 followers buys 2,500 saves. Even at 0.29¢, though, a save costs more than a play at 0.17¢, and because save rate is read as saves against plays, the useful ceiling is the play count the track already has, not the lowest unit price on the ladder. A 10,000 order on a track with a few hundred plays buys a ratio no curator believes. Each tier includes a 30-day refill: when the total in Spotify for Artists reads under what was delivered during that period, send us the figure and the gap is filled free. That keeps the per-save price honest for the window, though Spotify has never said whether saves get swept later.
